We Challenge You to Reduce Your Paper Use
Studies say the average office worker uses 130 lbs. of paper/year. That is approximately 37 reams of paper per person.
In this economic crisis, what organization can afford to waste resources? Do you want to reduce your environmental impact as well as save money? Are you doing all you can to conserve paper in your office? Take our challenge and we will help you take concrete steps to reduce your paper consumption.
The winner of the Reduce Paper Use Challenge is Big Brothers Big Sisters of Berrien and Cass, Inc in Michigan.
The organization has already put a host of activities into practice to reduce their paper use, including buying recycled paper, tracking paper usage, and implementing policies around document margins. Their first step, however, was to simply start sharing educational information via email instead of printing it. Congratulations to BBBS of Berrien and Cass! They have won a free 5-year MyFax account that will help them further reduce their paper use.
