Introduce Yourself Forum:
Introduce yourself and your organization to the TechSoup community. This is the place for nonprofits and their colleagues to get acquainted. If you have questions about how to participate, check out our Community Standards page.
Accessible Technology and Public Computing Forum:
Find solutions and resources for maintaining and operating your computer lab whether you are a nonprofit,  library, or community center. This is the place to share innovative technology curriculum, search for accessible technology information and ask general tech questions, such as, What's a good system for keeping headphones in a computer lab? and How do I find information on assistive technology?
Emerging Technologies Forum:
Get news on recent developments in technology, and discuss Web 2.0 tools and other applications with the nonprofit tech community. You can ask questions such as, Which Wiki tool is best? and Which blogging software should we use?
Fundraising Technology Forum:
Talk about what's new in fundraising software, e-fundraising, and grantwriting. This is the place to ask questions such as, What do you think about Raiser's Edge? or Do you know of any Mac-compatible software?
Hardware Forum:
Make recommendations and ask technical questions about computer hardware, including computers, modems, recycling, and pricing. Ask questions such as, What type of Laptop do you recommend? orWhat do I do if my computer keeps crashing?
Networks Forum:
Discuss the best way to connect to the Internet (DSL versus ISDN, cable versus modem) or which ISP to choose. You can post topics such as, Which firewall should we get? and Please help us install our VPN router.
Nonprofit Tech Careers Forum:
More of a bulletin board than a discussion forum, use Nonprofit Tech Careers to share resources and strategies for job-hunting and to post job announcements.
Open-Source Software Forum:
Explore the pro's and cons of adopting open-source and Free Software (General Public License) for a use in a nonprofit environment. This is the place to ask questions such as, What do I need to know about partition software? or Can you recommend open-source fundraising software?

Post any questions you have about the site and let us know what you think about TechSoup.
Software Forum:
Post software questions and discuss the latest nonprofit software and application service provider (ASP) solutions. Here, you can ask questions like, Which project-management software do you recommend? or What's the best nonprofit accounting software?
Tech Planning Forum:
Discuss the essentials of technology planning. Ask questions such as, Do you really need a technology plan? and Can you help me develop a technology survey for our organization?
TechSoup Town Hall:
Discuss ideas and trends in the sector, post nonprofit technology news and events, meet and mingle with your fellow community members, and hear the latest TechSoup news and upcoming features from the moderators.
Virtual Community Forum:
Learn more about how communicating through message boards, chat, and email. Ask questions such as, How do I create an HTML newsletter?, Does your organization have a blog?, and What email list software do you recommend?
Viruses and Security Forum:
Discuss ways to keep your computer secure and virus free, and what to do when your computer becomes infected. Here, you can ask questions such as, How do I prevent spyware? or My computer has a virus. What do I do?
Volunteers and Technology Forum:
Learn about working with technology volunteers and how the Internet connects volunteers with the organizations that need them. Ask questions such as, How can I track volunteer management hours? and How do I find a technology volunteering opportunity?
Web Building Forum:
Discuss getting your site noticed; hosting; design; and functionality. Ask questions such as, How do I register a domain name and set up my own site? and Which content-management system should we use?
Wireless Connectivity Forum:
Discuss the pro's and cons of wireless connectivity, the equipment it requires, and the security issues it introduces. Post questions like, What security risks are there with a wireless network? or How do I create a wireless network antenna out of a water bottle?
